[Figma] Sp-022 Kamen Rider Torque

Another Figma I gotten from XL-shop~! Kamen rider Zolda in Ryuki series and also Dragon Knight series Torque. In Ryuki series this guy play a very big role because without this guy then wouldn't have the big fight between him and Ouja. He played as a role of Lawyer while Ouja as a serial killer. In ryuki series, the reason he became KR is he wanted to have a longer life because he got some kind of sickness which he will die eventually. Whereas in KR Dragon Knight, as far as I know he is a BADass~! I watched up until ep14. Oh yah, he died~! KR DK actually wasn't that bad. ^^ Try it, you will never it might impress you.

Many people had complain about the KR figma line QC (Quality Control in case you don't know....) is damn bad. I saw some review from those famous japanese website which I myself witness is quite bad. Example; the henshin deck logo printed a little slanting. Mine wasn't having that problem and mine was great~! Other than some place that could do some little touch up. IE~ the head.

I still have little complain about this figure which is the hand. He is left handed thus right hand will taking the cards out but the only option to post him holding the FINAL vent is left and he will not able to hold the gun. Without the gun, how is he going to activate the cards?? Call Ryuki activate for him? Yeah~ Figma you're damn smart~ XD

Here comes the best part of TORQUE~!!! The giant SHOOT vent gun~!! HIGHLY detailed~! HUGE~! MASSIVE~! The very big selling point of this figure~! It can hold the gun although it is heavy. If you say figma painting are sucks~! CHECK out the huge gun~! It's really nicely painted.

CONCLUSION, Figma line isn't as bad as you think. Give figma a chance~! Without your support they can't continue produce. Buy it if you think the giant gun is worth it. Don't buy it if you're not big ryuki/DK fans.

[SHF] Kamen rider Decade Violent emotion

Finally, I get myself a Decade~! FYI, Decade is the 10th Heisei rider that travels among all the rider worlds which every rider claim that he "DE-K-DO" is destroyer of all the rider world thus must kill him beforehand. At first before this guy is aired, I'm so excited to watch it because I thought of they are hiring all the old cast back in action but things didn't went that way. They manage to hire "some" back to be act as the rider where they used to be such as Kamen rider blade(the real Kenzaki), Kamen rider kiva(the real Wataru), Kamen rider ibuki, zanki, todoroki, all the voice cast of Imagin in Den-o and so on. Changing the storyline of every riders sounds a bit cheapskate but then it's good to know that BANDAI wanted to bring all the riders back in action. Decade only manage to aired 30 episode.

One thing I don't like about SHF after buying those figma figure is that, they didn't hide the joint nicely especially for hips but other than that the other is up to standard. Articulation is nice. This package comes with decade itself, decade head normal version, hands, ridebook, ridebook gun form and sword form.

BANDAI is good at making the compound eye of all the Kamen rider( Maybe not hibiki.....but maybe they will make it transparent when it's out for SHF, who knows?). Paint job is of course better than Figma. BUT SHF do have some QC problem but not as much as Figma line riders. The compound eye for decade is extremely gorgeous~!

CONCLUSION:

Get this if you haven't gotten one. I'm a big fan of Decade but if you're not or you already have the first issued then it's easy for you to skipped unless you the normal version decade head.

I give 7/10 for this figure.

[Figma] Sp-016 Kamen Rider Wing Knight

HELL YEAH~!!! I got my Wing knight~!!! In fact, it's cheaper to get it from other shops but then XL-shop have some kind of points reward system so it's still worth it to get it from there. Okay, Kamen rider Knight acted by Akiyama Ren which is so cool that eventually would confuse he is also a main character besides SHINJI (That funny dude~!). I would say with the characteristic of Ren which is freaking match with the Wing knight look. Wing knight gives people sort of feels like it's mysterious, tough, decisive and cold blooded.

I have some problems with my Wing Knight. As you can see, the spear holder paint are peeling off which I don't know what to do with it but with some efforts of photoshop then the problem will solve although reality it's still a pain job to deal with. The head paint job aren't that cool but I use silver gundam marker to do some touchup which turn out to be good~

The highlight of the kits~! As usual, you will get a convenient figma plastic bag to keeps all the hands, hand holder and final vent cards. The Guard vent which is the cape and the spear alike sword vent. Lastly, the sword that he uses always for the final option in case he running out of cards. XD!!

As usual, Shinji is blur even Ren is behind him.

You may plug the figma stand on his back. The body sculpture are fantastic~! ^^ I'm not a perfectionist so I guess this is great enough.

Conclusion, check your figma before you buy. I give this 7/10 because of the QC I gave lower for this kits compare to Ryuki. Overall, I guess it's okay to give a try on figma rather than BANDAI alone or else they won't come out for the upcoming riders like those haven't announce one example Ryuki survive form and so on.

[Figma] Sp-015 Kamen Rider Dragon Knight

My first ever figma~!! KAMEN RIDER LIU~Liu~LIUKI~!! To be more specific, this guy should be the America version which is Dragon knight. MaxFactory manage to bought the license and sell it us. Of course, this would be rival to SHFiguarts line which produce by Bandai. The boxart is pretty standard which follow the usual figma packaging. I still prefer to call this guy Ryuki which act by the Japanese Kido Shinji. I got this from XL-shop at RM138 ^^.

Way back to 2002, where I stopped watching those so called childish cartoon. I strongly don't like it. So story the story start where my friends were watching the Kamen rider Ryuki last episode(Not movie.) and I remember that I told him this "DIU~ you still watch mong min chiu yan arh? Not childish merh??". I sit down and watch with him. I was totally impressed by the graphic and stuff like the unique storyline(Previously there's no rider VS rider but Ryuki has it.)

Let's go in to our main concern~! The review~! As I know Figma line is good at articulation and body sculpt and well-known with the girl anime figure. Their QC is bad like Revoltech as in the colour separation(DO SOMETHING with it~!!). So for those of you like me who buy it from those retail shop, small advice is check and compare with the other one which is better before you buy. Mine was okay. ^^

The articulation is fantabulous compare with some SHF. They use some softer plastic which is rubbery for some parts on the pelvis and so on. You may pull out lots of pose but for your information I'm very bad at posing so please forgive me. This figure might be smaller compare with most SHF if not mistaken.

Weapons, hands, stand and figma small plastic cover for that can keep the hand holders. I think this is very convenient where Bandai don't provide but you have to buy it separately which might cost you more(I don't mean that I don't pay for the stage for every figma I buy but it might cost me cheaper? who knows~ ^^). I like it this~ That's me.

Conclusion, I like it very much~!! I gave 7.5/10 since I'm a big fan of Heisei rider and especially Ryuki. Hope you guys enjoy~! I'm very addicted to this line ><" SHIT~!
