[MG] Gundam Unicorn OVA version

It's pretty long never post any new gunpla update ever since I built this kit during January time. I remember I sold my SIC Kamen rider Blade and I got the fund to buy this kit so please kick me if you think it's not worth it. Who cares? As long as, I like and enjoy building or playing the toy then it's fine. If you going to compare yen by yen, money for money, cent by cent....trust me you gonna have hard time buying toys.

 

"MASTA GULEIDO" Gundamu Unicorn~!! Been dreaming that someday I would get it but my dream came true when I successfully sold my stuff. Before buying this kit, knowing that this gundam is a transformable gundam then the outlook might compromise with the engineering technics. One of the precaution is I do realize wayyyyyyy before I bought it's going to be veery complicated and long process of building. Not forget to mention I got this kit last year and I  also posted it up on my blog previously that this kit I got it for Rm192 from Games Arena E@curve. Sorry to say that, the employee is suck.

This is something unusual to me. A plate is always red, blue and yellow with a little bit of white. Here we have one whole pinkish transparent colour. 

While building this kit, I definitely enjoy the process because it's rather different from the previous one I build. Transformable kit builds are really unique and can feel the effort that has put it into this kit. I decide to go for grey small marker so that it would not be so noticeable. Extra V-fin is provided despite having the splitting antenna.

Transforming this Gundam I only did it once and now this dude staying in my shelf in Unicorn mode. After transforming this dude, from 20++cm increase to 22cm which is consider one of the tall Gundam in general. If you were comparing to EX-s then it's different case. The pinkish inner frame becomes a little darker once it's put on together. Ammo pack is pretty neat. 

The articulation were improve a little for this kit compare to the 'Ver ka'. 90 degree bend for the legs. A lot of part is going to move if you try to pose this dude in Destroy mode. Overall, not too bad. Oh yah, not forget to mention that the joints are stiff,

 The scale is right. You can see how much taller the MG than the HG. The weapons is provided at standard amount which is 1 gun, 1 bazooka, 2 beam saber, amo packs and shield. I only remember he uses the gun during the movie instead of the giant rocket launcher all the time.

In a nutshell, buy or no buy. Full stop. (chey~ no larh just kidding~) If you collecting lead gundam, unique kit, challenging build process, love the ova then you might need to consider it.

[figma] Sp-031 Kamen Rider Wrath

Kamen Rider Wrath, also known as the Kamen rider Odin in Ryuki series. I know nothing about this rider in Dragon Knight series but roughly you may figure out how DK series work(A normal sequence of DK series is said to be from a bad guy that fight everyone else and later become a good guy that against Xaviax.). For Ryuki series, this guy actually wasted an episode where he uses the TIME VENT. Imagine every week i waited for an great episode that is going to happen but end up watching everything again and again for an episode. KR Odin, Kanzaki shirou, the creator of Mirror World. I watch again the KR Ryuki and realize that he, Kanzaki Shirou, you can actually consider him as a ghost because he may appears 'out of no where' and 'all of sudden'.

This is something quite unusual to me because the plastic is actually covering the whole figure. There's a instruction note teaching you how to interchange the upper parts of the 'staff?' XD~! Figure wise, the shoulder pats are made of some softer plastic. It actually hinders a lots on the hands articulation. To me, it's okay because ODIN/Wrath do not really need to pull out some really crazy moves thus it is sufficient enough. ^^ Like a standard FIGMA, it does have the figma stand, figma plastic bag and inter-changeable hand set of 8.

The STAFF is nicely detailed THUS no complain~! ^^ Figma done a good job~! I would say this figure actually it's 90% same as the one in the show~! It's only a small complain that figma's weapon is not playable most of the time. 'Playability' of weapon BANDAI stands out. However, this time figma stands out because you pay what you got. Weapon that figma include this time really sufficient enough.

There was this episode where knight thought he killed Odin but actually he did not.

Conclusion, lately figma has a better QC thus it's actually worth buying~! Although you may complain that there's no compound eye but you cannot denied the fact that Figma hide the hip joint better than BANDAI. Just my 5 cent~! ^^ Peace~

TFG night

It's something unusual to my blog but just to let you all know about this event~!

TFG Night is held by HELP Event Managing Club. The concept is Modeling, Photography and Designer working together in 1 group. Thus, it is definitely a fresh competition ever in Malaysia~!

There will be an Audition~! Support the local fashion scene~! It start from you, you and you~!

[Figma] Sp-022 Kamen Rider Torque

Another Figma I gotten from XL-shop~! Kamen rider Zolda in Ryuki series and also Dragon Knight series Torque. In Ryuki series this guy play a very big role because without this guy then wouldn't have the big fight between him and Ouja. He played as a role of Lawyer while Ouja as a serial killer. In ryuki series, the reason he became KR is he wanted to have a longer life because he got some kind of sickness which he will die eventually. Whereas in KR Dragon Knight, as far as I know he is a BADass~! I watched up until ep14. Oh yah, he died~! KR DK actually wasn't that bad. ^^ Try it, you will never it might impress you.

Many people had complain about the KR figma line QC (Quality Control in case you don't know....) is damn bad. I saw some review from those famous japanese website which I myself witness is quite bad. Example; the henshin deck logo printed a little slanting. Mine wasn't having that problem and mine was great~! Other than some place that could do some little touch up. IE~ the head.

I still have little complain about this figure which is the hand. He is left handed thus right hand will taking the cards out but the only option to post him holding the FINAL vent is left and he will not able to hold the gun. Without the gun, how is he going to activate the cards?? Call Ryuki activate for him? Yeah~ Figma you're damn smart~ XD

Here comes the best part of TORQUE~!!! The giant SHOOT vent gun~!! HIGHLY detailed~! HUGE~! MASSIVE~! The very big selling point of this figure~! It can hold the gun although it is heavy. If you say figma painting are sucks~! CHECK out the huge gun~! It's really nicely painted.

CONCLUSION, Figma line isn't as bad as you think. Give figma a chance~! Without your support they can't continue produce. Buy it if you think the giant gun is worth it. Don't buy it if you're not big ryuki/DK fans.

Here's a Japanese DUB version~! Have a look~! This sounds better (at least for me~). Akiyama Ren voice casted as Wing knight. ^^
