[HG] Gundam Age - 1 Normal

Sorry for leaving my lovely blog for such a long period. This time I'm bringing you guys something old yet spectacular Gundam that everybody hate and love it, Gundam Age-1 Normal. A new Gundam anime series that everyone complain being too kiddish and has no originality. However, I think this series is pretty good. Reason being it doesn't suck at all (Of course I do have some valid argument to tell ya why people saying it sucks and meanwhile there's still huge chunks of AGE fans out there).

People say: It's too kiddish. It's a series for kids. Look at those drawing. AWHH~~~!!
People say: Oh well, we were once kid and people were saying Gundam is for kids. Now they made it for other market so does that mean those kid suck? ><"

People say: Gundam Age has no originality~! Too much reference to older Gundam series when it comes to storyline and as well as some scene.
People say: Gundam Age bring back some of my memories of older series. The Char's Kick that recreated by Zeheart was awesome.

Now, back to the review. Gundam Age-1 normal are available in another two more form which is the Titus and Spallow. The normal one would be the basic form of the Age-1. It has the basic color of Gundam such as red, blue, yellow and white resemble RX-78 color. The technology on this piece are spectacular for it's price, build and quality.

Gundam AGE-1 is pilot by Flit Asuno. Apparently, he's the one who destined to pilot the Gundam. He is pretty good but he turns out to be a........SPOILER..... Check out the series. As you can tell from the picture, the color separation are done really well this time. It cost 1200yen but it definitely surpass a lot of the older High grade gunpla.

 Overhead view
The head is really special because the way to assemble this head are spectacular.
 Hand & Torso
Balance amount of color on his Torso.
 Accessories & Extras
Two short and long beam saber. Open hand and shield.
 Back of the shield
Gonna give a thumbs up on the shield. Bandai is kind enough to make a grey and white parts for lazy gunpla modeler like me. If you have the High grade Gundam Exia then you know the pain of white sticker.
 The waist unit
 Leg
 Backpack
 Articulation
 Leg articulation

Conclusion, if you are looking for fresh build on High Grade then this is suitable for any level of gunpla modeler. In fact, lazy gunpla modeler can buy this and touch up with gundam markers like I did for my Age-1 Normal. I build this nearly a year ago and it feels the same when I try to post it. For this gundam, I use none of the sticker instead I'm using marker (metallic green and flat black).
Just in case you want to know where I got it, Gamers Arena in Times Square. I personally recommend Times Square over E@Curve. They offer wide range of Japanese goodies. Check them out~!

[SHF] Kamen Rider Ouja

Finally, a longggggg awaited figure has reach my shelf. Kamen Rider Ouja form KR ryuki series. He can be describes as the most badass among all the villain riders. Of course, shadowmoon is way more scarier than this guy but I guess Ouja killed most rider in KR Ryuki series. I was walking around in KL Time Square and I was hoping to see whether any shop has import this shop.  I gave my last hope to the shop where previously I bought my Figma Wing Knight and the shop has it. Bought it at RM115 and it's worth the money after posing around with this figure.

WHY Bandai?
This time I choose to go for SHF rather than figma line because I wanted to give a shot on this figure. My major complain was the obvious joint system with SHF figure but this one is okay. The reason will be written as you read along.

This SHF doesn't include the contract monster like the Ryuki and Knight SHF. The hand is more than enough to pose which put KR Agito in a really bad place. (14 hands include the hold fist.) There are 6 cards include in this set which is Final vent, Advent, sword, steal and 2 blank contract card. This might indicate Raia and Rhino is going be Figuarts line or maybe just the contract monster alone. Don't think Bandai would put much effort on Ryuki series.
Bandai is very good at making head sculp. Also, I can see the details on this figure is very show accurate. Not sure you guys notice the head has to 'purposely' made sim line. I had never own a figma ouja but I saw those reviews and it doesn't has the same features as this one has. The shiny black colour eyes really stands out also. The head ball joint is good to make the neck cracking pose.
The chest plate is moveable hence articulation is not hinder much. The advent decks can be removable hence higher playability for SHF lines. The figma ones were printed and colored whereas SHF ones is sculpted on it. Here comes the Hip joint part, I think this one is a pass for Bandai since it's flat black color. Figma ones hide it nicely as always but the articulation for Bandai is much better compared to Figma. Also, not forget to mention the color for the armor in Figma ones was in dull purple where Bandai SHF were using metalic purple.

(Note; Figma KR DK series uses all the same body sculp and joint system thus I can comment on it without buying Figma Ouja.)
This one is a BONUS from Bandai. I don't remember the show even show his kicks having this kind of details. XD I might be wrong, please correct me if I do so.
The sword is pretty much the same as figma ones but the really different parts is the Ouja staff which can be opened and slot in the little tiny advent card. The details in the card slot is painted in silver with some detail which the effort is much appreciate.

CONCLUSION, get figma or shf?! My answer would be SHF because of the playability and details on this figure is better than the figma ones. Although I complain about the hip joint but this figure is easily pass due to the obviousness of hip joint is low. Putting him in a bunch of figma is good. This figure was set at a very good pricing. IF this figure comes with the advent monster then I would slightly think about figma. I do know that the advent monster is really great but it just me as a low budget collector doesn't want to spend that much on these figure. Have a nice day. BYE#

[SHF] KR OOO Ankh Stand Set

I bought this shf for a single reason which is the last episode of OOO Ankh really making feel touch. The Coolness of this small hand really captures a lot of attention from the audience. Got this since last year and sit in the shelf for quite some time. I was planning to buy Tajadol form but till now it has not came through so screw me~! XD

 Pointy hand.
'Ankh: Oi, Eiji~!'

 The detail on it palm.
Ankh Favorite foods which always making me wondering how delicious it can be.
Ankh: Eiji, use this or else we will died here~!
I name this as searching hand,
The ring on his finger is nicely detailed.
 Ankh: More Cell medal~!
Cell medal is also nicely detailed.

This figure.....Oh wait, this hand has only 1 articulation. The tamashii stand plays a big role this whole set because without the stand ANKH chang can't stand/fly/float/hang properly.

In a nutshell, I think if you are planning to buy now..... My advice is of course no. The lost ankh and Ankh is going to release soonest as possible thus buying this is kind of wasting money. UNLESS, you happen to be liking just the ARM part and price wise this is the cheapest shf ever. Oh ya, you can add this in your collection if you're shf ooo collector.

Clear Orange Rocket Astro Switch

Been long time never update my blog but today I will update as much as I can. Leaving all toys in Malaysia and not reviewing it not cool~! So I start off with the simple one. Clear Orange Rocket Switch which issued by March 2012 Telebi-Kun magazine( I was told it's TK until I bought it.) Pretty simple toys. Rocket switch is the most trademark Kamen Rider Fourze weapon. The normal version was in black and orange. By the way, I got this from Kinokuniya KLCC.
 Switch Off (front view)
 Switch Off(Back view)
 Switch On
Switch ON~!

Finally, I would recommend it to those perfect belt collector out there but I wouldn't recommend this to people whom has tight budget people out there because it does the same thing as nornal version. For me, I just wanted to collect some of the switch for fun. I got no Fourze driver but it's good to have it in your toy collection. BB#

[MG] Gundam Unicorn OVA version

It's pretty long never post any new gunpla update ever since I built this kit during January time. I remember I sold my SIC Kamen rider Blade and I got the fund to buy this kit so please kick me if you think it's not worth it. Who cares? As long as, I like and enjoy building or playing the toy then it's fine. If you going to compare yen by yen, money for money, cent by cent....trust me you gonna have hard time buying toys.

"MASTA GULEIDO" Gundamu Unicorn~!! Been dreaming that someday I would get it but my dream came true when I successfully sold my stuff. Before buying this kit, knowing that this gundam is a transformable gundam then the outlook might compromise with the engineering technics. One of the precaution is I do realize wayyyyyyy before I bought it's going to be veery complicated and long process of building. Not forget to mention I got this kit last year and I  also posted it up on my blog previously that this kit I got it for Rm192 from Games Arena E@curve. Sorry to say that, the employee is suck.

This is something unusual to me. A plate is always red, blue and yellow with a little bit of white. Here we have one whole pinkish transparent colour.

While building this kit, I definitely enjoy the process because it's rather different from the previous one I build. Transformable kit builds are really unique and can feel the effort that has put it into this kit. I decide to go for grey small marker so that it would not be so noticeable. Extra V-fin is provided despite having the splitting antenna.

Transforming this Gundam I only did it once and now this dude staying in my shelf in Unicorn mode. After transforming this dude, from 20++cm increase to 22cm which is consider one of the tall Gundam in general. If you were comparing to EX-s then it's different case. The pinkish inner frame becomes a little darker once it's put on together. Ammo pack is pretty neat.

The articulation were improve a little for this kit compare to the 'Ver ka'. 90 degree bend for the legs. A lot of part is going to move if you try to pose this dude in Destroy mode. Overall, not too bad. Oh yah, not forget to mention that the joints are stiff,

The scale is right. You can see how much taller the MG than the HG. The weapons is provided at standard amount which is 1 gun, 1 bazooka, 2 beam saber, amo packs and shield. I only remember he uses the gun during the movie instead of the giant rocket launcher all the time.

In a nutshell, buy or no buy. Full stop. (chey~ no larh just kidding~) If you collecting lead gundam, unique kit, challenging build process, love the ova then you might need to consider it.
